Assessment

This project is rather open ended. Students may like to work in groups of 3 or 4, so that a variety of approaches might be considered. In that case, submissions should indicate what each student contributed to the project.

The project provides an opportunity to think about how to develop good models in a limited time frame. A plan should be developed to tackle the problem. Like all real data mining projects, the plan can be adjusted as the project proceeds, reflecting discoveries made about the data.
